Killing and Injuring Rule[]

The killing and injuring of Player Characters and Special Player Character is forbidden. The exceptions are as follows...

  1. You own the PC or SPC in question.
  2. You have permission of owner of the PC or SPC in question.
  3. The SPC is a Type 2 that has served its purpose. (Please see below for more details.)

Player Characters[]

Your player character. Male, female, otherwise, species…it's all up to you. Needless to say, each player is allowed one Player Character/PC. (Still saying it, because this is the internet, you know what kind of people are out there.) Alas, Delta Quadrant species are a no-go for the simply reason that the known ones are too far away. (This limitation also applies to SPCs and NPCs.)

Gamma Quadrant species are fine, but you'll have to include an explanation on how they made through the Bajoran wormhole without getting blown to bits by the Jem'Hadar.

Special Player Characters[]

Type 1[]

Type 1 Special Player Characters are regular SPCs. Each player is allowed (but not required) to have one of these characters. If you want one, just shoot the command team a mail. The one-per-player limitation is because the Nothing is supposed to be a small vessel with a small crew. This rule is also in place to keep player capacity available for Type 2 SPCs.

Type 2[]

Type 2 SPCs are villains and other recurring characters (allies, mission givers, competitors, etc.). Type 2 SPCs whose character arc is completed can be written out (permanently). If cleared with the player / command team (if you are playing the SPC in question) this includes killing them off.

Non-Player Characters[]

Any character needed to make the plot work. These characters can be created and killed off as required. They are not protected by the killing and injuring rule.
